Why the booking form asks for a deposit
A jungle trek needs real preparation before the first step into the forest. Guides, cooks, food, permits, camp equipment, transport timing, and accommodation notes all need to be coordinated around your travel date and group size.
The PayPal amount shown on the booking form is designed as a deposit only. It helps secure the booking process without asking guests to pay the full trek cost online before arrival.
How the 30% amount is calculated
The calculation is simple: package price per person multiplied by group size, then 30% of that total is the PayPal deposit.
For example, if a trek costs 250 EUR per person and the group size is 2, the package total is 500 EUR. The manual PayPal deposit is 30% of 500 EUR, which is 150 EUR.

- Enter the correct group size.
- Check the package total and deposit due before opening PayPal.
- Send only the deposit shown on the form.
What happens after manual PayPal payment
After sending the PayPal payment, submit the booking request with your selected package, travel date, group size, contact details, and PayPal payment reference in the notes.
The guide team can then match the deposit to your booking request and reply with availability, final trip notes, meeting details, and any transport or accommodation help you requested. You can also send the reference directly by WhatsApp.
How the remaining balance is paid
The remaining balance is not charged automatically by the website. It can usually be paid in cash when you meet the team in Bukit Lawang, or arranged before departure after direct confirmation.
Keep your PayPal receipt or capture reference until the booking is fully confirmed. If anything in the amount, date, package, or group size looks wrong, contact the team before making another payment.
